So far, AKISCOM Ajah, is one of nine such chapters and one of the strongest.”

Going memory lane and enumerating their achievements so far, Deacon (comrade) Promise Udofia said,”since we assumed leadership in 2017, we started from day one to seek to unite all Akwa Ibomites residing along the Lekki-Ajah flank and I daresay we provided commensurate leadership.

That, within the period under review, we have been able to pay out as much as N2 million to members as welfare benefits, we have consistently fought for the fundamental rights of members where such rights appears to be trampled upon, we have grown our membership base from 33 to 459 and still counting.

During the lockdown, we were able to provide food stuff as palliatives to the vulnerable and economically challenged households and we created and funded the viable AKISCOM Ajah multi-purpose cooperative society as stop-gap for those in need of small business loans and we are partnering with the Lagos State government in working out benefits in terms of skill acquisition, job opportunities, etc. for members.

With your support, the prospects of achieving more and lasting legacies for Akwa Ibom people and Lagosians around our domain here and beyond are indeed, decidedly ambitious.” He promised to continue to serve the people with humility.
