BOB’S NOVEL TEMPLATE ON DEVELOPMENT OF AKWA IBOM

With Akwa Ibom State’s slogan, ‘Land of Promise’, the plan of any good leader must centre on taking the state to that next level of development and opportunity it desires.

To attain this, it is the responsibility of the various levels of government in the state to conceive, initiate, plan and implement numerous development projects and programs spanning across all sectors of the economy.

Overcoming inequalities in the distribution of these development efforts constitutes one of the major problems facing planners in different sectors of the state.

When an effective political leader plans to take over the mantle of leadership of a state, what readily comes to mind is the ability for the development of that state.

Generally, the development of any state in the world is based on so many factors, including tested, trusted and exemplary leadership.

As the 2023 gubernatorial fever is permeating further, the lead conversation has remained who will carry on with the task of leading Akwa Ibom State to the desired next level, where we would have taken our rightful place, designed to lead the nation’s socioeconomic and political rebirth.

The time has come to do more than excuses, whether for reflection or repentance. It is time we considered what and who, going forward, should carry our mandate, and show class dispassion to ideologies of personal benefits to help the state leverage on our collective resolve for better days. In stating the obvious, we have tasted a bite of different models of leadership and are ripe for a deal of settling for a fellow who fits perfectly in the bill of professionalism, politics and community and spiritedness, which are values that present the Nsit Ubium political leader, Distinguished Senator Effiong Bob ahead of the task.

 However, there may be arguments on who deserves the Hilltop sit. Undoubtedly, with Senator Bob resides several bright shades of an enviable future, gleaning from successes he has in over two decades achieved around the nation, even in terrains considered as unfamiliar and hostile.

Bob is committed to effective leadership, investing in the right minds for optimum results.

Without mincing words, Senator Bob’s several reputable recognitions are medals of his depth, reach and touch on his political and economic experiences and maturity.

The ability to show empathy has never been so easy with political leaders, but for him, there are no holds barred with shading a piece of him to provide warmth for others. Little wonder how he has been able to carry on with fiscal responsibilities by employing more and keeping the employed at a time other competitors are laying off, to get reprieve from the prevailing economic weather.

With less than two years to the 2023 elections, it is only Distinguished Senator Effiong Bob who has an idea of what past Governor Udom Emmanuel’s governance should look like.

Having had experience in political space spanning over 20 years, Bob will deploy all of these experiences. This, will go beyond a heroic move to paint a future that generations after us will appreciate.

There is also the urgency of settling for a leader who is home with managing men and resources; a fellow with Bob’s personality and depth, who will explore our boundless opportunities to keep us afloat economically.

Bob understands ahead what prospects agriculture, education, youth development, infrastructural development and tourism hold for Akwa Ibom and will invest more than a passing interest at getting the state to benefits from these opportunities; a departure from the diversification our leaders have tried frantically to get them working. He will do more so we just do not exist as a consuming economy.

Considering the advantages of having these sectors working, is a possibility that will perfectly sit on his plans. He is about the most refined mind that can pull together key players to invest in Akwa Ibom State. This, for our electorates, will birth a huge relief.

On education, there will be the plan for an average Akwa Ibom youth to be educated. Having been the Pro-Chancellor of University of Benin and a lawyer by profession,he has a fair knowledge on how to get this done.

On tourism , he will develop a workable model in tourism development to foster Akwa Ibom’s chances at changing the national tourism outlook in the State. Armed with the intrigues of advancing a narrative that will make the state a cynosure for the global community, Senator Bob is set to get the ball rolling.

It is believed that the Distinguished Senator Bob will emerge the strongest unifying factor in Akwa Ibom political firmament, as he currently enjoys massive support, patronage and following across every political strata of the state. This courage greatly defines capacity.

With this resolve, 2023 politics with Effiong Bob will be more deliberate and definitive, marshalling out strategies and template for Akwa Ibom State’s development.
