BODY OF LATE GENERAL LAGBAJA ARRIVES ABUJA FOR BURIAL

The body of the late Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, arrived in Abuja from Lagos on Thursday ahead of his final rites scheduled for Friday. The body arrived at Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 12:16pm the scheduled funeral services will commence on Thursday with a Service of songs, followed by his interment on Friday afternoon respectively. According to the Director of Army Public relations, Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, General Lagbaja will be laid to rest at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja on Friday.
