EKO SYNOD WOMEN’S GUILD OF PCN BIRTHS HER MAIDEN BIENNIAL CONFERENCE

The Women’s Guild of Eko Synod of The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, PCN, has birth her maiden edition of the Biennial Conference on Thursday, 29th August, 2024.

With the theme, “The Conquering Woman of Our Time”, the Synodical women, led by Elder (Mrs) Itohan Chekwas Anaga, President, Eko Synod Women’s Guild, had a rally to sensitize women in the neighborhood on the importance of standing up in tomes of challenges especially in their marriages and relationships of any kind.

The Moderator of the Eko Synod, Rt. Rev. Daniel Odim gave the charge from Luke 22: 39 -42, with the topic “Setting yourself apart for divine encounter. He charged the women that God had been waiting for them and He’ll meet them at the point of their needs and they’ll not go back the same.

The women from all parishes, under the Eko Synod converged on the PCN, Ketu Parish, Lagos, for the 3- day conference,to study the Word Of God and to further ignite themselves in the spirit of God .

One of the activities of the program was a talk on ” Violence on gender based” by Elder (Mrs) Itohan Chekwas Anaga. She analyzed the danger in not nurturing the boy child as we do for the girl child. She said there was need to raise the boy child well to make him a good husband in future. She also emphasized the importance of the magic words: Excuse me, Pardon me, Please, sorry and Thank in the lives of the boy child.

Women worshipped and praised God for God’s faithful in their endeavors.
