Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio Inducts Emmanuel NtatamAdorn Him… With a New Title

The foremost and renowned socio-cultural organization, Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio (MMI), has added a new page to its illustrious history, expanding its growth with the induction of Akwaobong Unwana, Dr Emmanuel Ntatam into its distinguished fold in the 54th general Assembly.

The induction ceremony, held at the organization’s headquarters in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State was a grand affair attended by dignitaries, members, inductees and well-wishers from across the region.

Ntatam, whose induction signifies a recognition of his contributions to the Ibibio community, was welcomed with a new befitting title associated with the organisation “AKPARAWA” and ceremonies that underscored the rich cultural heritage of the Ibibio people were offered.

The event was marked by colorful displays of the organisation’s attire, dances, music, and the presentation of identifying symbolic items that reflect the rich values, norms and traditions of the Ibibio nation.

Addressing the inductees, the international President of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, Akparawa James Edet, emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting Ibibio culture and values.

Others lauded Ntatam for his dedication to the community through his birthed Heal The World foundation and expressed confidence that his inclusion would strengthen and promote the organization’s mission, fostering unity and development among the Ibibio people.

Akparawa Ntatam, in his acceptance speech, expressed profound gratitude for the honor bestowed upon him, dedicating his new feat to God almighty for raising him high above individual expectation.

He pledged to uphold the goals, values and ideals of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio and as well contribute greatly to the organization’s inventiveness aimed at projecting the youths, upholding cultural heritage, and promoting social cohesion within the Ibibio community.

Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, founded to project the cultural heritage, social norms and economic development of the Ibibio people, continues to advocate and play a pivotal role in integrating and elevating the community.

The induction of Akwaobong Unwana Dr Emmanuel Ntatam is glimpsed as a testament to the organization’s commitment to recognizing and celebrating individuals who contribute greatly to the growth, value and prosperity of the Ibibio nation.
