NAWE SENSITIZED WOMEN TO MARK 2026 IWD

The Nigerian Association of Women Entrepreneurs, NAWE, carried out a sensitization exercise at the Ogba area of Lagos State, to mark the 2026 International Women’s Day, IWD on the 31st March.

With the Theme, “GIVE-TO-GAIN”,
Mrs. Bimbo Oyetunde the President of NAWE, Lagos Chapter reiterated that Women are the bedrock of every Nation, capacity builders and home managers. When you train a woman ,you build a nation.

Mrs. Bola Akingbade a strong NAWE EXCO emphasized the need to train our girl child and protect them from dangers. A girl child must be educated and given opportunities to compete in the outside world, Akingbade added.

The sensitization campaign took place at the Ogba Central Mall near the Sunday Market and a road walk by all the Women of NAWE to Ogba Bus Park where women and men were engaged on the role of women and campaign for the girl child safety in a changing world.
