TRIBUTE TO DOLLY PARTON

This is Dolly Parton, one of those women whose name goes far beyond music

She was a legendary American singer, songwriter, actress and businesswoman who built an incredible career spanning several decades. From her music and songwriting royalties to major business ventures like Dollywood, Dolly created an empire that made her one of the most financially successful entertainers in the world

But there is another part of her story that has always touched people

Dolly never had chi|dren of her own
She spoke about it several times over the years, explaining that she believed God had a different purpose for her. She famously expressed the idea that since she did not have chi|dren of her own, everybody’s kids could be mine.

One of her biggest legacies is the Imagination Library, a programme that provides free books to chi|dren, helping young people develop a love for reading regardless of their family’s financial situation
