USDIA ENDORSES TINUBU, AKPABIO AND UMO ENO FOR SECOND TERM, LAUDS THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS

At the general assembly of Uyo Senatorial District Indigene’s Association, USDIA, Lagos, on the 4th of April 2026, the general assembly overwhelmingly endorsed the second term of President Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Pastor Umo Eno, Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

The President General of USDIA, Lago, Chief Matthew Udoheyop said members of USDIA are grateful with the administrations of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for stabilizing the economy and fighting insecurity in Nigeria, the Uncommon Senate President Godswill Akpabio, who had defined legislation and thereby demonstrating leadership in the great Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Pastor Umo Eno with his Arise Agenda and laudable achievements in the State.

Speaking further, Chief Matthew Udoheyop, said the Akwa Ibom State governor, Pastor Umo Eno’s Arise Agenda has focused on the developmental blueprint patronizing rural development, infrastructural maintenance and economic inclusion.

Udoheyop noted that the key achievements of Governor Umo Eno’s administration include infrastructure and urban development, road construction; actively constructing 1,300km of roads across the State; developing the 4.5km Uyo village road dual carriage road among other achievements.

Speaking further, Udoheyop appreciates the good works of Governor Umo Eno. In his words, “We at USDIA” are happy with your administration and we are ready to stand with you at all times to make Akwa Ibom State a better place”.

Pastor Umo Eno is described by many as a compassionate governor having delivered over 206 compassionate homes and distributing subsidized food to over 500,000 households. He also donated 150 two-bedroom homes to lower-level civil servants in the State.

In the urban renewal, the active governor has developed the 4.5 km Uyo village road dual carriageway and a 260-meter bridge to improve connectivity.

Governor Umo Eno has fostered a more inclusive, peaceful political atmosphere across the State. He has also brought together political opponents and has united the state politically, thereby eliminating political hatred or rancor by fostering peace inclusivity among political opponents.

The administration of Governor Umo Eno had achieved in all areas during his tenure. Uyo, the capital city had been known for serious flooding in the past. The major gully erosion site has been transformed into a tourist attraction, the “Arise Park”.

Eno has expanded the Healthcare sector by building model Primary Health Centers across all 31 Local Government Areas, LGAs. He has supported the Aged by providing monthly stipends to over 600 elders through the Arise Elders Care Initiative.

In the Educational sector, Pastor Eno has built Model Primary School across all 31 LGAs while increasing Students’ Bursaries and sustaining free education policies.

In all, the Governor’s outstanding achievements have earned him numerous awards of excellence, validating his commitment to transformational governance.

“We have informed our members to prepare to give our leaders through voting, 100% of our votes in the coming election”, Udoheyop noted.
